Put kroner on chores
Create one-off or repeating chores with a clear amount, such as “Empty dishwasher · 10 kr”.
Lommepenge is a simple Danish iPhone concept where parents put kroner amounts on chores and children can see their balance grow toward a savings goal.
Instead of keeping allowance on paper, in memory or in a message thread, Lommepenge explores one shared view of what has been earned, paid out and saved toward a goal.
Create one-off or repeating chores with a clear amount, such as “Empty dishwasher · 10 kr”.
When a parent approves a completed chore, the amount is added to the child’s balance and becomes part of the history.
A child can follow a concrete savings goal and see the progress from current balance to target amount.
The current first-version plan deliberately keeps real money outside the app. The family still pays as it normally does; Lommepenge records the result.
Payouts are recorded manually so the displayed balance can match what the family has actually paid.
The first-version concept is local and account-free rather than built around a server or child login.
The currently verified development build uses a local SwiftData store for child profiles, ledger events, chores, recurring rules and weekly allowance records. It has no SABONEX account, backend, sync, advertising or analytics.
Lommepenge is not publicly released. The page describes the current first-version product direction; later ideas such as device sharing or widgets are not presented here as release commitments.
